Welcome, NY Area Synchronized Swimmers!

Do you love the water? But are you either bored swimming laps or want to try something new? Perhaps you should try synchronized swimming.

Or are you an experienced synchronized swimmer and miss having other folks to work out with?

This meetup will connect you with other local Synchronized Swimmers and connect you with classes in the NY area.

Synchronized swimming is a performance sport similar ice skating or ballroom dance; but, is performed in deep water! A swimmer learns basic swimming strokes, kicks, and stunts that are choreographed into routines that are performed in front of judges or an audience. Over time swimmers will develop skill, flexibility, strength and endurance that will allow them to move through the water with ease, confidence and grace.

The Meetup invites male and female swimmers ages who love the water to join one of our co-ed all ages programs which will teach you the skills needed to perform on one of our recreational show teams and/or participate on one of our competitive teams.
